Melanie is a Miami native who was born and raised in Coral Gables by two amazing parents along with two older sisters, who she considers her best friends, one spoiled Husky and two senior kitties. Ever since she could remember, her home has been filled with animals, primarily cats! She studied Marketing at Florida International University, where she graduated with her Bachelors in Business Administration. Shortly after graduating, Melanie landed her dream job as a Marketing Coordinator at the Humane Society of Greater Miami, where she is able to combine her love for animals with her creative and extroverted personality. At the shelter, she is also able to practice one of her newfound hobbies, photography, as she captures the beauty of the shelter’s pets through the lens of her Cannon. In her spare time, she makes sure to soak in as many moments as possible with her family and friends. She also likes to spend time enjoying the great outdoors, whether it’s at the beach, at a park or even in her own backyard (with her camera in hand,of course).
