National Association of Professional Pet Sitters

We are excited to announce our affiliation with the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS).  NAPPS is a non-profit organization founded in 1989 by a group of pet sitters and to this day continues to be operated by its members, for its members.  NAPPS is dedicated to promoting the welfare of animals and serves as a wonderful resource to the pet owning public and professionals in the pet care industry.  Its vision statement, “to serve as the most respected authority in professional pet sitting” is fulfilled not only by providing countless resources to support the success of their members, but also pet parents are afforded the opportunity to take advantage of resources such as disaster preparedness guides, tips on how to select a pet sitter, a nationwide referral service and quarterly teleconferences aimed at educating the pet owning public.  Best of all, these benefits are free to pet parents.  And if that isn’t enough, NAPPS is rated high on the social responsibility scale as well.  Two of their major annual events are the “Presents 4 Pets” program which consists of a collection drive held during National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week and the Youth Education Program aimed at educating children and adolescents on proper and responsible pet care and parenting.  Visit NAPPS at www.petsitters.org, join them on Facebook at facebook.com/TheNAPPS or follow @TheNAPPS on Twitter.

Backed by such a wonderful organization, the next time you turn to us for your pet care needs, you can rest assured that ensuring the welfare of your pet is above all else.
